Model - HAWK

Sagar's HAWK 1600 BT CNC Bridge Type Vertical Machining Center is a Heavily Ribbed Solid Construction in closed grained Cast Iron, which mackes it most suitable for large work pieces in Tools Die and Mould making & for the machining of complex parts. Heavily Ribbed Box type bend construcion supporting the double column makes it a highly rigid machine for all atypes of machining applications. Spindle axis close to Z-axis guide ways probides maximum cutting stability and minimum thermal distortions. All axis movement are through high precision preloaded ball screws and are supported on heavy duty LM guideway. Hydraulic Counter Balance for Z-axis is provided for better stability during high speed contouring as well as to arrest head drop during power failures. Belt driven, highly rigid spindle is supported on high precision angular contact ball bearings. Machine is equipped with stae of the art Digital Numerical Control System for high speed contouring applications.
